DJ Koo, husband of Barbie Hsu, shared a meaningful post on Instagram about the wealth his wife left behind, which is estimated at around P1.76 billion.

In a heartbreaking post written in a mix of Korean and Chinese, accompanied by a black photo symbolizing his grief, South Korean singer DJ Koo expressed his deep sorrow and indescribable pain.

“I am currently in a state of indescribable sadness and pain, with a heart as if being cut by a knife, and my insides are torn apart. I have no strength to speak, nor do I want to speak," as per the translation from the South China Morning Post.

He also criticized those who tarnish their own family's image, emphasizing that some people would even endure hardships, like walking in the rain.  

Recently, Barbie's ex-husband, W@ng Xiaofei, was spotted flying from Taiwan to Thailand upon hearing about her passing. The two, who divorced in 2021, were known for their heated exchanges on social media.  

Koo stressed that Barbie's P1.76 billion wealth was a result of her hard work. He also vowed to protect her children from malicious individuals and stated that he would hand over his share to his mother-in-law.

"Therefore, I have decided to hand over my share entirely to my mother-in-law,” he said. 

“I will take legal measures through lawyers to protect their rights until they reach adulthood,” he noted. “I believe that safeguarding the family that Shi-yuan loved most is the last thing I can do for her," he added.
