A man who claimed to be the mall security guard has ended his silence. He explained his side in a video.

The man appeared in the video still wearing his uniform and cap. He said the Sampaguita vendor was uncooperative. This happened before the video started recording.

He insisted he was only doing his job. He stated that the situation was already difficult. According to him, the vendor's behavior caused the issue to escalate.

The incident gained attention online. Viewers criticized the treatment of the vendor. The video sparked discussions about fairness and authority.

The guard's statement aims to clarify his actions. Public reactions to his explanation remain divided.

“Sinusunod ko lang po ‘yung trabaho ko bilang isang security guard,” he said.

The guard also addressed the family of the vendor. He said that good parents would not let their children sell on the streets and pretend to be a high school student.

“Kung magulang po kayo sana ay nagpaka-magulang po kayo, hindi niyo sana pinapayagan ‘yung anak niyo na nagtitinda kung saan saan,” he said.

The guard's statement aims to clarify his actions. 

“Nakulitan na po ako sa kanya, bilang pagsunod ko sa trabaho ko, bilang pagsunod ko sa nakakataas sakin sinaway ko ‘yung bata pero ayaw pong magpasaway. Hindi ko po talaga ginusto ‘yung nangyari,” he said.

“Doon po sa mga nagsabi na wala daw po akong awa, inuulit ko lang po, sumusunod lang din po ako sa utos,” he added.

He also tried to defend his actions towards the vendor.

“Ilang beses ko ng sinabi na umalis, pero ayaw niyang umalis. Tapos nong paghugot ko ng Sampaguita, nasira, tapos pinaghahampas na ako sa mukha sino pong matutuwa sa ganon,” he explained.

“Kami bilang security, sumusunod lang po kami sa utos kasi ‘yun po ang trabaho namin, doon po kami sumusweldo,” he added.
