Two-time Olympic medalist Carlos Yulo finally reunited with his brother, Karl Eldrew Yulo, after several months apart. The reunion took place during the Philippine Sportswriter’s Association Awards Night 2024 on January 27, 2025, at the historic Manila Hotel.

Carlos was honored with the Athlete of the Year award, while Eldrew received the Tony Siddayao Award for their significant contributions to Philippine sports. A lighthearted moment unfolded when Carlos hugged Eldrew during a press interview at the event.

Eldrew, who had recently celebrated his birthday, could be heard asking Carlos if he could drop him off at his house in Leveriza.

“Sabay ba natin sila?” Carlos asked his girlfriend Chloe San Jose.

“Sige isabay natin sila,” she responded.

It can be recalled that Carlos and Eldrew didn’t see each other due to a feud between the Olympic medalist and his mother, Angelica Yulo.

The Yulo family also blamed Chloe for sparking the squabble between Angelica and Carlos.

Meanwhile, some netizens couldn’t stop themselves from asking why Carlos still needed to ask Chloe for her permission to bond with his own brother.
